A church in Warri sets to unveil Pidgin English Bible

The popular Christ Embassy Church based in Warri is set to launch its pidgin English version of the Holy Bible. The Head of the Warri Ministry Centre of the Christ Embassy Church, Pastor Eddie Owase, announced this on Tuesday the 1st of October 2019 in Warri as part of the activities by the church to mark Nigeria’s 59th independence anniversary.

Pastor Owase said:

“We have been able to translate the Holy Bible into pidgin (English). That is one of the biggest things we will give to the world soon,”

Pastor Owase also noted that the Rhapsody of Realities, which is a daily devotional of the ministry, had also been translated into different languages in the country.

“The gospel and the word of our Lord Jesus Christ is God’s power to save humanity” the cleric noted. He also stated that the ministry would continue to sustain the programme which it had started 11 years ago and the major is to win souls for Christ.

“The programme, Reach out Nigeria, started 11 years ago, and it is designed to reach out to many people, professionals, prisoners and those in the hospitals with the Word of God. We all know that God’s Word has the power to change the lives of so many people and if there is going to be any progress and prosperity, it is going to be through the power of God” he said.

Owase also advised the leaders of the nation to embrace the Word of God and believe in the unity and greatness of this country.
