The Big Brother Naija reality show had its finale last night, Sunday, October 6th 2019 with housemate Mercy Eke emerging as the winner.
Twenty-six-year-old Mercy Eke has just emerged the winner of the 2019 edition of the Big Brother Naija pepperdem reality TV show, which officially came to an end after 99 days of live and all-round entertainment.
With just 5 housemates making it to the finals, Seyi was the first to be evicted, after which Omashola was also evicted. Frood emerged the 2nd runner up leaving mike and mercy as the final 2 housemates for the win.
Mercy finally emerged winner with a total of 41.77percent of 250 million votes which were cast by viewers making her beat fellow housemate, Mike Edwards, who got about 19.94percent of the votes.
We recollect that a total of 21 housemates premiered the show with a later addition of five others, who were introduced to the BBN house midway into the show.
For emerging the winner of the show and also emerging the first female contestant to win the big brother show since inception, Mercy was presented with a cheque of 30 million naira. She will also receive various gifts and incentives which will all be valued at 30 million as well making a total of 60million naira.
These various gifts and incentives include: an all-expense-paid trip to Dubai for two, a Sport Utility Vehicle from Innoson Motors (made in Nigeria), one year supply of Pepsi Cola, a scanfrost electronic makeover, one year supply Munch It and Indomie noodles and finally a VIP tickets to watch the European Champions League final.
