President Trump Congratulates Buhari on Nigeria’s Independence Day and says we share common goals with Nigeria

President  Donald Trump, of the United State of America evaluated the prospects of Nigeria celebrating its 59th independence anniversary today Tuesday 1st of October 2019. Donald Trump, who congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on Nigeria’s 59th successful independence anniversary, described the country as one of America’s strongest partners in Africa with its largest export in crude oil.

President Trump in an expressive statement in Washington on Monday 30th September 2019, stated that Nigeria and America shared common goals of the expansion of trade and growing their economic relationship.

Donal Trump said: 

“We are allies in the global fight against terrorism, and we really want to see Boko Haram and ISIS-West Africa driven out of the region and other insurgencies like them dismantled and disassembled.

Trump further said:

“The United States of America welcomes all the efforts by the Nigeria administration to diversify and enlarge opportunities for your talented, creative, and hardworking people for the benefit of both our countries, Africa and of the world at large”

President Donald Trump said he was pleased that the vice presidents of both nations have been building on the longstanding history of cooperation between the US and Nigeria. He stated that he hopes such a relationship continues to grow and all citizens of both nations can practically enjoy from such a relationship. The United State President, Donald Trump, finally wished Nigerians all the best as they clock an interesting number of independence breakthroughs.
