Court Orders Forfeiture of Saraki Properties

The Federal High Court which sat in Ikoyi, Lagos on Monday, the 21st of October 2019, has ordered the temporary forfeiture of two properties located in Ikoyi area of Lagos State and belonging to the recent past Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki to the Federal Government.

Minister orders Telecom firms to Slash data prices

Dr Isa Pantami, the current Minister of Communications, has directed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to compel telecommunications service providers to reduce the prices of data that is being offered to subscribers. Dr Isa also ordered the commission to put an immediate stop to ‘illegal’ deduction of subscribers’ data by the telecoms.

World Bank approves $3bn loan for Nigeria

The International World Bank has approved and accepted to grant a loan of the sum of $3 billion to Nigeria. This is for the expansion of the transmission and distribution facilities and transmission network of the power sector, the Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed, revealed.
